It depends heavily on the area.

More often then not, I find that heroes dont exactly manage hybrid builds well, and ignore e-management and spam expensive skills (like aegis/prot spirit constantly)

A spammy'ish healer build with hex and condition removal usually suits a hero monk for most PvE needs I have, and on occasion (doa, uw/fow, mission runs) can be switched to more concentrated build.

This should be fine:

[skill]Word Of Healing[/skill][skill]Dwayna's Kiss[/skill][skill]Words Of Comfort[/skill][skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Divine Spirit[/skill][skill]Remove Hex[/skill][skill]Dismiss Condition[/skill][skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]

Hb/Hp, works well as a support monk when you have need for pressure relief:

[skill]Healer's Boon[/skill][skill]Dwayna's Kiss[/skill][skill]Heal Party[/skill][skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Divine Spirit[/skill][skill]Remove Hex[/skill][skill]Dismiss Condition[/skill][skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]

Glimmer of light got nerfed from its original godliness, so its out of the question unless you have no other choice. Because WOH got buffed, its going to be on alot of skill bars for a while, and heroes are no exception.

A couple questions I have with your builds.

1. Please tell me that a human monk is runnign the HB/HP bar because heroes run that bar like shit.
2. Why on earth would you give monk heroes death pact signet... Thats asking for trouble
3. Why would you ever take remove over cure hex in pve? Especially on a healer monk bar....

1. That was my saved hb + hp bar saved to a template, uploaded here.

2. Deaths happen, if your up quickly enough its usually not a problem.(obviously theres debate about it)

3. I don't own factions or eotn, so any factions/eotn skills wont be seen in my bar.

Word of Healing no question about it.

I wouldn't even bother with Devine Spirit use something else to long of recharge and cost 10 energy to cast GoLE is much better.I would like to DS much like that our version of GoLE.

Glimmer still doesn't heal for quite enough to take up an elite spot.

I typically run a WoH hybrid and Life Sheath Full Protection monk. I find that heroes squander their energy on upkeep heals and when running 75% prot skills they end up saving a lot in the long run. In most areas of the game, WoH and Heal Party are really the only straight heals you need and most damage can be mitigated through protection prayers.

I personally use WoH over Gimmer of Light, maybe if WoH was still heal "Other Ally" Gilmmer of Light might have more of a use.

Right now the only way I can see Gimmer of Light useful would be a quick spike heal to counter repeated spike damage. However casting it rapidly also depletes your energy more rapidly too so I don't know.

I say experiment with both of them see what you like using and what situation you can see using either spell.

I've said this time and time before, but for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would EVER bring Words of Comfort instead of Mend/Dismiss Condition.
And to bring both Words of Comfort AND Mend/Dismiss Condition is so hideously redundant it makes my head spin.

Seriously, I hate Words of Comfort even more than Healing Breeze. It should be removed from the game.

(sorry for the rant, but every time I see someone using that skill it makes my head explode )

To answer the OP: WoH is vastly superior to Glimmer, but they're both still redundant with Kiss anyway (albeit Glimmer slightly more-so), which makes me wonder why you would want to bring both WoH AND Kiss on the same bar on a human player, unless you where to drop RoF for some bizarre reason.

On a hero however, WoH + Kiss - RoF is the way to go, because heroes suck with RoF.
The only other option out there that I would consider for heroes in certain situations would be Kiss + Ethereal + LoD + Holy Haste in a pure heal build, but that only works if your second monk is pure/heavy prot (such as WoH + all prot).
Examples below:

WoH hero:
[skill]Word of Healing[/skill][skill]Signet of Rejuvenation[/skill][skill]Dwayna's Kiss[/skill][skill]Mend Condition[/skill][skill]Cure Hex[/skill][skill]Shield of Absorption[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill]+ rez/optional

LoD hero:
[skill]Light of Deliverance[/skill][skill]Signet of Rejuvenation[/skill][skill]Dwayna's Kiss[/skill][skill]Ethereal Light[/skill][skill]Mend Condition[/skill][skill]Cure Hex[/skill][skill]Holy Haste[/skill]+ rez/optional

For general use, I recommend the WoH build. The LoD build is fantastic in specific team builds that are built for it, but the complete lack to prot is a liability in PuGs and general hero/hench groups.
I run the LoD build on Odgen in my specific hero/hench team build, but I switch him to the WoH build when in PuGs.

Try Restore Life, Rebirth, Renew Life or just Plain Ressurect then Death Pact Signet it's slower but at least you won't die if the person you resurrected dies within 2 minutes.

Plus if its casting time your worried about use it with Healer's Boon and Holy Haste it also cuts the casting time of rez spells too (except rebirth which is protect, and resurrect which is no attribute)

I use Glimmer on my hybrid Dunk, and it works great.

But it's probably because I am a monk myself, so I run WoH. and 2 WoHs are pretty counteractive IMO. It always seems to turn out like this:

1. ally goes under 50%
2. I start casting WoH
3. Dunk WoH's him first due to faster AI reflexes, brings ally to almost full hp
4. my WoH is wasted

Glimmer seems to fit my needs better, since dunk can just happily spam glimmer and patch up any extra damage, and I can cast WoH and take care of the ones in trouble.

But if you're any other profession then WoH is probably the better choice.

WoH or RC or SoD.

I would never use glimmer under any circumstances. (Unless of course I don't have any other elites unlocked. If your hero is running WoH, run RC or SoD or Divert Hexes. Just about anything would work out better than glimmer imo.
